Flower Mound Homes & Property

Flower Mound has experienced a tremendous amount of growth over the last twenty years, with roughly 45,000 more residents in the community today than there were back in 1990. Though there has been a major influx of people in Flower Mound, the town has been careful to maintain the character of the community, utilizing such strategies as the SMARTGrowth Program to help manage development responsibly.

Flower Mound real estate is in a very convenient location—less than 30 miles away from both Downtown Dallas and Fort Worth. It's also a short 3-mile drive to the DFW International Airport. Its great location is one of the reasons that buyers are drawn to Flower Mound homes. There's also the fact that the school system has a strong reputation, the tax rate is low, and the community itself is very family-oriented.

Flower Mound houses typically range between the mid-$100s and the mid-$300s, with some very nice properties available in the low-$200s.

For recreation, there are several playgrounds, over 30 miles of biking trails, an expansive new rec center, two lakes, and two equestrian centers in the area. Flower Mound is also home to the Bridlewood Golf Club and Tour 18.

Flower Mound schools are run by the Lewisville ISD. Of the schools serving Flower Mound, nearly all have been rated Exemplary by the TEA.
