Students residing in Dallas are served by the Dallas ISD, which has National Blue Ribbon nominees, as well as schools that had been named "Gold Medal Schools" by the U.S. News & World Report. There are also a large number of Dallas schools that have been rated Exemplary by the Texas Education Agency.
There are more than 90 schools in the Dallas ISD, including a number of magnet schools.
